Last updated: June 2025

What is the GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the European Union regulation governing how organisations collect, store and process the personal data of EU citizens. It came into force on 25 May 2018 and applies to MatrixAI Studio.

Legal basis for processing

We process your data only when a valid legal basis exists:

Your rights under the GDPR

Right of access

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, along with information on how we use it.

Right to rectification

You can ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete data we hold about you.

Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")

You can request deletion of your data when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, when you withdraw consent, or when you object to processing.

Right to object

You can object to processing of your data based on legitimate interest. You can also object at any time to the use of your data for direct marketing purposes.

Right to restriction of processing

You can ask us to limit use of your data while a dispute about its accuracy or the lawfulness of processing is being resolved.

Right to data portability

You can request your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, in order to transfer it to another data controller.

Right not to be subject to automated decisions

You have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce significant legal effects. MatrixAI Studio always facilitates human supervision of the models it generates.

How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact form. We will respond within a maximum of 30 days. In complex cases we may extend that period by a further 60 days, notifying you in advance.

We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request, to ensure we only share information with the data subject.

Data of minors

MatrixAI Studio is not directed at persons under 16 and does not knowingly collect data from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided data without authorisation, contact us for immediate deletion.

International transfers

Data is processed primarily on servers located in the European Union. For third-party services (such as Google AdSense), any transfer outside the EEA is carried out under GDPR safeguards (standard contractual clauses or European Commission adequacy decisions).

Supervisory authority

If you believe that the processing of your data violates the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority:
